Due to popular demand, we are excited to announce that we are hosting an additional session of Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue in-person training on Tuesday, September 23rd and Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, at NC State University’s Talley Student Union.
While this training is especially beneficial for County Extension Directors and others in supervisory roles, it is open to all Extension employees and colleagues within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences who wish to strengthen their communication and leadership skills.
A crucial conversation is a discussion between two or more people where the stakes are high, opinions differ, and emotions run strong. Too often, these conversations either damage relationships when handled too directly, or fail to deliver results when avoided altogether. Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue equips participants with the tools to turn disagreement into productive dialogue, fostering both stronger relationships and better results.
This additional fall offering is in response to high demand, and spots are expected to fill quickly. Don’t miss this opportunity to invest in your professional growth and learn skills that will enhance your effectiveness as a leader, colleague, and communicator.
📅 Dates: Tuesday, September 23 – Wednesday, September 24, 2025
📍 Location: 3210 Talley Student Union, NC State University
➡️ Registration is now open in XLMS.
