Description: The goal of this training is to provide N.C. Cooperative Extension’s Agriculture Agents a basic understanding of the responsibilities, systems, and resources needed to perform their jobs with excellence. Once training is completed, Agriculture Agents will have a basic foundation from which to build their career and be leaders in their field within their communities. Topics covered include building resources; expectations and responsibilities; working with community partners; recording and reporting data; working with ASAs, Research Stations, and Specialists; conducting site visits; and more. 

This training is for all new Agriculture Agents (Horticulture, Forestry, Field Crops, Livestock, etc.). This is part of the Subject Matter Training phase of the Extension Onboarding process for all new Agriculture Agents. If you are a new Agriculture Agent, within your first year of hire, please register today in xlms for this training.
