We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the second cohort of the Academy to Advance Leadership within Extension (AALE)! Since January, our team has been diligently planning and preparing for this next phase of AALE, ensuring an engaging and impactful experience for participants.

AALE is designed to cultivate leadership excellence within North Carolina Cooperative Extension by equipping participants with the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to lead effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.

We are also thrilled to confirm our partnership with the Shelton Leadership Center, which will serve as the leadership content facilitator for this cohort. Their expertise in values-based leadership development will provide participants with invaluable insights and practical tools to enhance their leadership capabilities.

If you are looking to elevate your leadership skills and make a lasting impact within Extension, we encourage you to apply!

Applications are now open and will remain open until June 30, 2025.

For more details about AALE and the application process, visit the AALE webpage.

Please note, AALE is subject to the availability of funding, which will be determined in the coming months.
