EOD Launches New Monthly Virtual Training Calendar

Extension Organizational Development (EOD) has developed a new monthly virtual training calendar with professional development opportunities for all employees within Extension, which begin in February.  This is a result of feedback from our EOD listening sessions, EOD needs assessment, and Extension Early Career Conference in 2023.

The EOD team and subject matter experts from across Extension and the university will facilitate these training sessions. Training topics include:
  • Mentoring Program Training
    • 2nd Wednesday of the month from 10:00-11:00am.
    • Training for new mentors and mentees.
  • Onboarding Office Hours
    • 1st Friday of the month from 9:00-10:00am.
    • Open time for new and tenured employees to ask questions.
  • Skills for Success
    • 2nd Friday of the month from 9:00-10:00am.
    • New training series focused on hard and soft skills for the workplace.
  • FISH! Fridays
    • 3rd Friday of the month from 9:00-10:00am.
    • Continued training for the FISH! Philosophy.
  • Wellness Wednesdays
    • 4th Wednesday of the month from 9:00-10:00am.
    • New training focused on wellness for work and home.
Registration is now open for these monthly virtual trainings for all Extension employees through XLMS. The registration deadline for each training is the day before the session. Training sessions will be recorded and available for those who are unable to join the training session live.
