Do you have an exciting summer internship or research project? Join the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the High Impact Internship & Research Experiences Symposium (HI-RES) to share your summer experiences. HI-RES will be on Monday, August 26th from 11am-1pm, and you'll be able to share your experiences with fellow students, college leaders, and industry partners.
County Extension Directors and intern supervisors, please encourage your outstanding summer interns to participate in the symposium! We would love to have a strong showing from Extension.
For the symposium, students will submit a poster detailing their internship or research experience and present it to employers, peers, and faculty members during the event. This poster will represent the internship or research experience and should include information such as the following:
- How you found the opportunity
- Activities you undertook during the experience
- What your favorite aspects or highlights of the experience were
- Skills you developed
- How this experience has helped you move toward your future career goals
- Information on how other students can apply for the experience and/or contact information for who to contact for more information
