The roles of the IM Agents

  • The IM Agents develop the information management capacity of N.C. Cooperative Extension field faculty and support staff to enhance the development and delivery of educational programs provided by North Carolina Cooperative Extension.
  • They provide technology education to Cooperative Extension employees
  • They collaborate with each other, EIT personnel, and national partners to build technical literacy within the national cooperative extension system
  • The IM Agents are educators, not technical support personnel. They will direct your troubleshooting requests to the EIT Help Desk or local county IT support personnel, as appropriate. NC Cooperative Extension employees are encouraged to contact the EIT Help Desk directly by emailing eithelpdesk@ncsu.edu or calling 919-513-7000.
